We have a baby who runs hot and I was worried the 2.5 TOG would be too much. It's not — the breathable cotton keeps her perfectly regulated. The size chart is accurate too, something I can't say for most baby products.
TOG 2.5 is suitable for room temperatures of 16–20°C (61–68°F). For warmer rooms (20–24°C), choose our 1.0 TOG. For cooler environments or winter nights, our 3.5 TOG is ideal. The most important rule: never add extra layers on top of the sleep sack.
Size by your baby's current weight, not age. The sleep sack should be roomy enough to allow leg movement but not so large that baby can slip down inside. Use our size chart above — when in doubt, size up for growing room.
Yes — our 0–6M size is suitable from birth (minimum 7lbs / 3.2kg). We recommend pairing with a swaddle for the first 0–8 weeks, then transitioning to the sleep sack once they start showing startle reflexes.
Machine wash at 30°C on a gentle cycle with similar colours. Tumble dry on low or air dry flat. Do not bleach or iron. The zip can be protected during washing by zipping it closed before putting it in the machine.
